Anamnesis: Lower back and hip pain, with variable intensity, especially at night, possibly related to a previous femoral neck fracture from two years ago.

CLINICAL PRESENTATION:

Symptoms: Lower back and hip pain.
Duration: 2 years
Aggravating factors: Incorrect posture, sedentary lifestyle.
Relieving factors: Red light therapy.

Treatment History:

Current medication: None.
Previous treatments: None performed.

Investigations:

Results: MRI.
Diagnosis: Avascular necrosis of the left femoral head and neck, post right femoral neck fracture.

Treatment Plan:

Recommended medication: None recommended.
Therapeutic interventions: 20 hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions.

EVOLUTION AND PROGNOSIS:

Evolution: After completing 20 hyperbaric therapy sessions, the patient shows an improvement of approximately 90%, with complete remission of lower back and hip symptoms. Mobility has significantly improved, with no nighttime pain and no need for additional interventions.
Prognosis: Favorable. Long-term maintenance of results is expected, with low risk of recurrence.

FINAL OBSERVATIONS:

Maintenance sessions are recommended only when needed, along with posture correction and maintaining a minimum level of physical activity.
