Medical History

Anamnesis: 56-year-old patient, known with the following pathology: aseptic necrosis of the right femoral head, stage 2, presents to the clinic with 7/10 pain at the level of the hip, lumbar and sacral area, symptomatology that started approximately 3 weeks ago and has worsened in recent days. We mention that during this period the patient underwent treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and Dexamethasone, after which additional investigations were performed.
Family history: Unknown.

CLINICAL PRESENTATION:

Symptoms: 7/10 pain at the level of the hip, lumbar and sacral area.
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks.
Aggravating factors: Walking.
Ameliorating factors: None.

Treatment History:

Current medications: None.
Previous treatments: None performed.

Investigations:

Results: Pelvic MRI.
Diagnosis: Aseptic necrosis of the right femoral head, stage 2. Lumbar discopathy. Right coxarthrosis. Chronic sinusitis.

Treatment Plan:

Recommended medication: None prescribed.
Therapeutic interventions: 20 sessions of hyperbaric therapy.

EVOLUTION AND PROGNOSIS:

Evolution: The patient presents after the second treatment cycle and reports that the pain has disappeared and she no longer uses any medication. Sinusitis and headaches have disappeared.

FINAL OBSERVATIONS:

Complete recovery.
