Symptoms: Pain in the left knee.

Results: Knee MRI.
Diagnosis: Edema of the left medial femoral condyle and ipsilateral tibial plateau.
Recommended medication: None prescribed.
Therapeutic interventions: 20 sessions of hyperbaric therapy followed by reassessment are recommended.
Evolution: The patient presents for reassessment and reports that the pain has almost completely disappeared, being present only during knee flexion. Previously, the pain was evaluated at 8/10, and currently it is 1/10, according to the patient. Mobility is greatly improved; before therapy, flexion was impossible.
Prognosis: Very good. Significantly increased mobility, absent pain, peripheral sensitivity, motor function, and intact vascularization. Healing is confirmed radiologically and clinically at approximately 90%.
HBOT sessions as needed. MRI follow-up in 1 year.
