Results: Knee MRI.
Diagnosis:
- Advanced right gonarthrosis.
- Bone edema.
- Baker's cyst.
- Subchondral fracture with depression in the posterior-superior region of the lateral femoral condyle.
- Essential hypertension grade 1.
Recommended medication: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as needed.
Therapeutic interventions: 20 sessions of hyperbaric therapy.
Evolution:
The patient presented for a new clinical and imaging evaluation, after completing the first treatment cycle, which included 20 sessions, for lateral condyle necrosis.
During the treatment, she walked without support, avoiding intense physical efforts.
Prognosis: Following the treatment, the patient no longer complains of significant pain. The pain felt in the cervical spine has been considerably reduced, from a score of 8/10 to 3/10.
Regular check-ups with the attending neurologist and reassessment as needed are recommended.
