Medical History

Anamnesis: The patient presents to the clinic after a liposarcoma excision with a chronic wound (operated on 28.06.2024 and revision reoperation on 20.09.2024). Chemotherapy finished on 31.05.2024 including Doxorubicin, Ifosfamide and Mesnum.
Family history: Unknown.

CLINICAL PRESENTATION:

Symptoms: Pain.
Duration: 3 months.
Aggravating factors: None.
Ameliorating factors: None.

Treatment History:

Current medications: None.
Previous treatments: None performed.

Investigations:

Diagnosis: Chronic wound post operated myxoid liposarcoma, dorsal area right thigh (3.5 x 1.5 cm).

Treatment Plan:

Recommended medication: None prescribed.
Therapeutic interventions: 20 sessions of hyperbaric therapy.

EVOLUTION AND PROGNOSIS:

Evolution: Current wound size 6 x 3 mm.
Prognosis: Following treatment, the patient no longer complains of significant pain.

FINAL OBSERVATIONS:

It is recommended to continue radiotherapy and reevaluation post-radiotherapy, HBOT sessions post-radiotherapy.
