Post-traumatic stress disorder

Post-traumatic stress disorder

This syndrome involves both dysfunctions in brain activity and alterations in neural microstructural integrity. Recent studies demonstrate the positive effects and effectiveness of hyperbaric therapy in treating PTSD sufferers, especially those resistant to conventional treatments. This is due to neuroplasticity activation and results in symptomatic improvement.
