Post-COVID-Syndrom

Eine kürzlich am Sagol Hyperbaric Medicine and Research Center in Israel durchgeführte Studie zeigt, dass die hyperbare Sauerstofftherapie (HBO) Neuroplastizität induzieren und kognitive und psychiatrische Symptome, Müdigkeit, Schlaf- und Schmerzsymptome bei Patienten mit Post-COVID-Syndrom signifikant verbessern kann.

Studien zeigen, dass die Verbesserung der zerebralen Durchblutung und die Aktivierung der Neuroplastizität in Hirnregionen mit kognitiven und/oder emotionalen Funktionen die Post-Covid-Symptome verbessern können. Vorteile zeigen sich auf kognitiver und psychischer Ebene, bei der Belastbarkeit, der Schlafqualität und bei Schmerzen.
